About Dan
Photography was love at first sight for me. As a five-year-old, I was infatuated with my aunt and uncle’s Polaroid camera and was mesmerized as the images came to life before my eyes.
As a 12-year-old Boy Scout, I longed for a photography merit badge and bought my first camera from Boys’ Life Magazine. When it arrived, I was in heaven. A decade later, I graduated from photography school. It was the perfect blend of art and science.
Commercial work has taken me to forty-five countries. From Bali, Indonesia to earthquake-ravaged Port au Prince, an AIDS orphanage in Johannesburg and the volcanic beauty of Iceland. My work is seen in books, magazines, annual reports and on the web.
The journey is my destination.
